LX DANCE CAMP

General terms and conditions of the event
 

  • LX DANCE CAMP (LXDC) is an international dance camp that brings together dancers and choreographers from all nationalities, backgrounds, religions, and ages. The goal is to create a space for exchange and sharing, where each participant can learn, improve, and discover new techniques in an inclusive and enriching atmosphere. Whether you’re passionate about dance or a professional, the LX DANCE CAMP is the ideal place to grow artistically and personally, surrounded by talent from all over the world.
     

  • Objective and Scope of the Document : The terms and conditions serve to establish the rules and expectations of the event, thereby protecting both the organizers and participants. They ensure a clear, safe, and respectful experience for all.
     

  • Event Date and Location: LXDC and all related services will take place from OCTOBER 3 to OCTOBER 5, 2026, at Time Out Market Lisboa, Av. 24 de Julho, 1200-478 Lisboa
     

  • Type of Service: In order to participate in LXDC, there are three types of camp passes and one type of the showcase ticket:

    CAMP PASSES

  • Full Pass: Access to all classes for the 3 days of the camp and with entry to all evening events organized by the camp.

  • Day Pass: Access to the classes of the selected day, with entry to the evening event organized by the camp.

  • Heels Pass: Access to the high heels classes of each day, with entry to all evening events organized by the camp.

    SHOWCASE

  • Showcase Audience Ticket: Access to watch the showcase.

  • Exclusions: These 4 options do not include accommodation or meals, and participants are responsible for their transportation to the camp venue.
     

  • Minor Participant: Any minor participant must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the entire duration of the camp. LXDC disclaims any responsibility for minors during the event. It is the responsibility of the parent or legal guardian to supervise the child outside of the camp’s supervised activities.
     

Refund policy and cancellation due to force majeure
 

  • Non-refundable event: No requests for refunds will be accepted under any circumstances, including in the event of the participant’s absence.
     

  • Cancellation in the event of force majeure: The organisers reserve the right to cancel the event in the event of force majeure, such as natural disasters, extreme weather events, strikes, war, acts of terrorism, pandemics, government measures or any other unforeseeable event beyond the control of the organisers. In this case, participants will be informed as soon as possible of the cancellation of the event. The organisers will do their best to reschedule the event or offer an alternative. The organisers cannot be held responsible for any damage or loss, direct or indirect, resulting from the cancellation of the event due to force majeure.
     

  • Refund in the event of cancellation due to force majeure: In the event of cancellation of the event due to force majeure, the organisers undertake to refund participants the price of their pass, excluding platform fees. 
     

Responsibility of the organisers 
 

  • Organisers liability: The organisers are responsible for ensuring that the camp runs smoothly, including compliance with timetables, activities and reception conditions. 
     

  • Changes to the schedule: Due to the unpredictable nature of art and dance, the organisers reserve the right to change the timetable, the order of classes or the choreographers before or during the event.
     

  • Absence of a choreographer: In the event of the absence of a scheduled choreographer, the organisers reserve the right to automatically replace them with another qualified choreographer, without this giving rise to any right to reimbursement or compensation.
     

Liability waiver
 

  • Theft of personal belongings: The organisers cannot be held responsible for the theft or loss of personal items during the entire event, including during the parties and other activities.
     

  • Injuries: The organisers accept no responsibility for injuries, accidents or incidents of any kind suffered by participants during the event. 
     

Participation in the camp implies that participants are aware of these risks.
 

Responsibility and rules for participants
 

  • Liability of participants: Participants must follow all instructions given by the organisers and respect the rules of the camp.
     

  • Responsibility of participants: Participants are responsible for all damage (theft, damage to equipment, inappropriate behaviour) caused to LXDC and its organisation throughout the event. 
     

  • Resell or exchange of passes: Participants undertake not to resell or exchange their pass. Any attempt to resell or exchange passes will be considered as fraud and will result in the immediate cancellation of the registration, with no possibility of reimbursement. 
     

  • Identity checks: The organisers reserve the right to check the identity of each participant at the entrance to the event, in order to confirm registrations and the accuracy of the information provided.
     

  • Consumption of drugs: It is strictly forbidden to consume drugs in or around the dance camp premises. In the event of a breach of this prohibition, the participant may be reported to the appropriate authorities and their registration will be cancelled without refund.
     

  • Exclusion of participants: The organisers reserve the right to exclude any participant whose behaviour is deemed inappropriate, in breach of the terms and conditions, or in the event of non-compliance with instructions given by camp staff.
     

Authorisation to use images

  • Participants agree that images and videos of their participation in the camp (including during dance classes, events, or at other event locations) may be used for promotional purposes, in particular on digital media, social networks, brochures, and other communication media related to the event.
     

  • These images may be used on the event’s websites, social networking pages and promotional documents, without any time limit.
     

Additional conditions

  • Access for accompanying persons: Accompanying persons must remain in the designated area and must not interfere with camp activities. Access for accompanying persons is strictly limited. The organisers reserve the right to refuse access to accompanying persons if the conditions are not met.
     

  • Modification of terms and conditions: The organisers reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Participants will be informed of any significant changes, and continuing to take part in the event after these terms have been amended will signify their acceptance of the new conditions.
     

By registering for this event, you acknowledge that you have read these terms and conditions and agree to abide by them.
